Offshore Stick AMJX

The Smith Offshore Stick AMJX is a six-foot offshore jigging series built around Armor Nanox graphite, a blank that applies Toray's Nanoalloy resin technology to sharply raise strength while cutting weight. It was developed in response to anglers who wanted the distinctive load, action, and grip design of the longer AMJ models carried over into a shorter six-foot platform. The result is a compact jigging rod that keeps the parent series' deep-loading bend and recovery in a length better suited to close-quarters vertical work.

The lineup splits across casting (AMJX-C) and spinning (AMJX-S) blanks in light through extra-heavy powers, all sharing the 6'1"-6'2" range. Line ratings are given in PE classes, matching the rod to braid-based offshore jigging rather than a monofilament line-weight scale.
