OFFSHORESTICK HSJ SUPERLIGHT series

A single-length, three-model offshore spinning series from Smith Ltd (Japan) dedicated to superlight (SSL) jigging and vertical light-game fishing. Serves include red sea bream (madai), grunt, hairtail, and sea bass in situations where jig weights under 50g are used on PE #0.6–1.0 line. This is a specialist tool for Japanese-style superlight jigging instead of a general-purpose offshore rod, the ultra-thin 1.0mm tip and full-solid blank construction define its niche.

Not suitable for heavy jigs, slow-pitch with large lures, or trolling. Blanks are Hyper Full Solid Carbon 24 from tip to butt, no internal void, giving stickiness and load transfer characteristic of solid construction, with claimed strength sufficient to handle unexpected large fish despite super-light power rating. Guides are KG Titanium Top with KB/KT/KL double-wrapping specification, a premium guide train for this weight class. Downlock DPS17+KDPS reel seat.

One-piece construction. Total length 6'4" (194cm) across all three models. All three models share the same 6'4" length and spinning format. The difference among HSJ-SSL64/L, HSJ-SSL64/2L, and HSJ-SSL64/3L is blank progression, "2L" and "3L" indicate lighter load ratings within the superlight class (3L being the most delicate). This lets anglers match the rod to jig weight and current conditions without changing length.
