Aerial
Saltwater value series covering jigging, boat, live bait, inshore, and surf in one platform.
The Star Aerial is Star Rods' core saltwater value lineup, covering jigging, boat conventional, live bait, inshore, and surf duty. Target angler is the saltwater generalist who wants Fuji-grade hardware on a graphite composite blank without stepping up to Star's premium tiers. Blanks are graphite composite with epoxy coatings tuned for sun and salt resistance.
Guides on jigging and boat models are aluminum oxide ring sets; surf models carry corrosion-resistant guides matched with non-slip cork tape grips and cushioned stainless steel reel seat hoods. Star backs the line under its standard limited warranty. The 44-model lineup runs roughly 5'6" through 11', ML through XH, split across conventional and spinning formats.
Model coding signals the sub-line: EXXJC and EXXJS are jigging conventional and spinning, EXXKF is the kingfish live-bait series, plain EXX models with line-class numbers (EXX2050, EXX1220C70, EXX528H) are boat conventional and inshore, and CT suffix models are the surf series in two-piece configurations from 8' through 11'.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 44 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
