Star Rods' Handcrafted series is a hand-built saltwater lineup covering kite, live bait, bottom, stand-up, and IGFA trolling applications. Blanks are custom assemblies that combine multi-directional graphite with proprietary epoxy (Duratech) at ratios selected per model for the intended load. Each rod is wrapped, finished, and accented by hand and carries a limited lifetime warranty.

Components draw from Fuji guides and reel seats, with select stand-up and IGFA models based on AFTCO and Stuart hardware, roller guides on heavy classes, and reinforced gimbals. The series exclusive PowerPatch reinforces the foregrip area, and select actions use the patented PowerButt. Model codes encode application and class: KTAHC is the heavy 3' kite rod, KFHC and KFSHC are live bait conventional and spinning blanks, the B-series codes the line class (20-50, 30-80, 50-100, 80, 130) and butt style (B straight, CB curved), and IGFA50BHC and IGFA130CBHC are class-rated trolling sticks.

SUS, S, and ST prefixes identify spinning models for casting and live bait work.
