The Star Rods Pursuit United series is a branded collaboration with Pursuit United Bourbon, a freshwater bass series built on Toray carbon blanks made for serious recreational and tournament bass anglers. The series covers a broad range of bass techniques from finesse spinning through heavy power-fishing casting, sold as a premium freshwater offering from Star Rods (a brand historically stronger in saltwater). Blanks are Toray carbon with plasma resin layering for a stated strength-to-weight advantage.

Guides are deep-pressed Fuji SiC with titanium frames, friction-minimizing and notably lighter than stainless alternatives. Reel seat is Fuji Ti. Handles are NextGen carbon weave, not cork or EVA, a choice that emphasizes sensitivity at the cost of feel comfort for some anglers. Power rings near the butt for quick power identification. Backed by a lifetime warranty. The 10-model lineup splits 6 casting and 4 spinning. Lengths run 6'9" to 7'11", powers L through XH.

The casting end spans ML through XH, notably the PST711XHFC at 7'11" XH covers heavy punching or big swimbaits. The PST79HXFC and PST77HFC are both H-power, differing only in length. Spinning models run L through M power across 7'2" to 7'8", with two XF-action models (PST76LXFS, PST78MLXFS) for finesse techniques.
