The Star Rods Stellar series is a broad saltwater platform that spans inshore spinning, boat conventional, and surf spinning rods under a single brand name. The 13-model lineup in this batch draws from at least three distinct sub-families: SB-prefix models are Stellar Boat conventional rods for offshore and inshore boat fishing; SG2-prefix models are Stellar Surf spinning rods for surf and beach casting; and a single SG-prefix Stellar Lite inshore spinning model may also be present. The series serves coastal saltwater anglers across a wide range of species, stripers, redfish, bluefish, snook, and nearshore bottom species.

Construction across sub-families uses high-modulus graphite blanks (IM-7 on Stellar Lite inshore, high-modulus graphite on Stellar Surf). Hardware includes Fuji guides and reel seats throughout. Boat models feature the patented Star Rods PowerButt graphite gimbal butt, a composite material stronger than EVA, abrasion-resistant, and designed for rod-holder use. Surf models use cross-wrap rubber shrink grips. Inshore models use premium cork grips. One-year limited warranty covers all sub-families. Pricing runs approximately $94–$170 across the lineup.

The 13 models include: SB-prefix boat conventionals (SB1225C702, SB1230S702, SB1530C66BF2, SB1540S702, SB1540S802, SB1730C702, SB2050C702, SB2050S702) in 6'6"–8', and SG-prefix surf spinners (SG21530S102, SG21530S112, SG276IS2, SG280IS2, SG290IS2) in 7'6"–11'. Boat models are 1-piece; surf models at 10'–11' are 2-piece. Power ratings span L to H. Line weights on boat models run 12–50 lb; surf models handle 6–30 lb with lure ratings 3/8–5 oz.
