Zeus Series

The Duckett Zeus is a mid-price bass rod series made for tournament-level freshwater anglers who want modern construction without flagship pricing. Target techniques span the general-purpose casting and spinning spectrum: bladed jigs, topwater, jerkbaits, and light to medium-heavy power finesse work. The series reportedly accumulated over $2 million in tournament prize winnings in its first year on the market. Blanks are proprietary Sensi-Touch graphite, halo-sanded for added tactile feedback, and reinforced with a carbon fiber scrim layer.

Guides are Kigan Artus high-gauge 316ss ring-lock with hyper-lite braid-proof inserts, arranged in a semi-conventional train. Handles are high-impact cut-resistant EVA with rubberized cork banding and comfort-grip full reel seats. Construction is made for weight reduction and balance, not raw power, the series stops at H and is not rated for punching or big swimbaits. The six-rod lineup mixes casting and spinning formats.

Castings run 7'–7'3" in MH and H fast action; the single spinning entry is 6'8" MH fast and one 7' M moderate-fast crankbait variant. No models exceed 7'3" and lure ranges top out around 1 oz, making this an all-around finesse-to-medium-cover series instead of a heavy-cover tool.
