specialized Pacific Northwest salmon trolling series from G. Loomis, designed for downrigger, planer board, and flasher-rig trolling applications made for chinook, coho, and steelhead. The target angler is a serious PNW salmon troller who runs multiple rods off a boat and needs tip expressiveness to indicate bait action at depth and backbone to lever large fish. Blanks use stepped mandrels machined with micro-tapers at stress points, G.
Loomis's approach to reinforcing areas prone to failure under repeated trolling load. Fuji Concept O guide trains handle monofilament and braid equally. Seaguide reel seats with Fuji double-locking nuts prevent reel movement under strain. Ergonomic carbon trolling handles are lightweight. The 2-piece construction (denoted by -2C) allows transport and stowage on a boat. All models are conventional (baitcasting) style; Spinning variants is absent.
Five models, all 2-piece conventional. Lengths step from 9' to 10'6"; power steps from M to XH. The 9' MH pair (1083-2C, 1173-2C) handle the 1–6 oz lure range at 10–30 lb, standard flasher-rig territory. The 10'6" models diverge sharply: the 1262-2C (M) drops to 1/2–3 oz for lighter presentation, while 1264-2C (H) and 1265-2C (XH) step up to 2–10 oz for heavier terminal gear and deeper water applications.

Lightest 10'6" model; 10–20 lb and 1/2–3 oz serves finesse salmon trolling with lighter hoochies or small spoons. The long length provides a wider rod arc for side planers on lighter rigs.
Heavy-power 10'6" for large flasher rigs, heavy spoons, or deep-water downrigger setups on 20–40 lb line. The 2–8 oz range covers most standard PNW chinook trolling terminal gear.
Heaviest model in the series; 2–10 oz accommodates the largest flasher-and-bait combos or bumper rigs used in high-current or deep-water coastal salmon fisheries.
