IMX Pro Offshore Casting

Conventional casting series built for West Coast live bait, jigging, and trolling applications made for tuna, yellowtail, and large pelagic species. The blank uses G. Loomis's TaperTec design philosophy, prioritizing lifting power for extended fights at the rail while maintaining manageable weight. Line ratings from 15 lb (lightest) to 100 lb (heaviest) cover a wide spread from light inshore trolling up to heavy offshore kelp or open-water work.

BattleOn Grip handles fatigue during long battles; SeaGuide guide train handles heavy load without line damage; Fuji reel seat locks baitcasting reels securely. All eight models are baitcasting/conventional with fast action throughout. The lineup splits into two length tiers: 7'6" (four models, 30–100 lb) and 8'0" (four models, 15–60 lb). Power escalates from ML at the light end to XXH at the heavy end within each length group.

The two-tier structure suggests the 7'6" models are intended for boat work with heavier drags and shorter fights, while the 8'0" models provide additional casting range and control for lighter-class species. The 20-lb ML entry is the only model that could reasonably double for inshore use.
