IMX Pro Bass Sjr
Finesse spinning rods for Ned rigs, tube baits, and spy baits on light line in clear water
Spinning-only series built exclusively for spin jig and finesse bass presentations, Ned rigs, small tube baits, spy baits, marabou jigs, and light jerkbaits on big clear-water impoundments. The target angler is a smallmouth or largemouth bass fisherman working light line (6–15 lb) on larger bodies of water where long-distance presentations and bite detection matter more than power. These are optimized for subtlety and feedback. Blanks are built on technique-specific mandrels using G.
Loomis's proprietary IMX material, with the stated result of up to 15% weight reduction versus comparable models while retaining crisp responsiveness. The SJR designation (Spin Jig Rod) communicates the focus directly in the model name. Fuji K-frame tangle-free guides, full cork grip, and Fuji reel seat are standard across the series. Third-party reviewers consistently note the SJR series as lighter and more sensitive than the E6X line at a lower price point than the GLX.
All eight are spinning rods with fast action. Power runs L to MH. Lengths cover 6' (two 721/722), 6'6" (two 782/783), 7' (two 842/843), and 7'6" (two 901/902). Each length tier gives anglers an L or M pairing at the shorter end and an M or MH at the longer end, giving a coherent progression for matching line weight and casting distance requirements.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 8 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.

Model notes
3 of 8 modelsLightest, shortest option, suits ultra-finesse Ned rig and micro jig work where sensitivity and tip delicacy outweigh casting distance.
Upper-end power for the series; handles larger tube jigs and heavier finesse rigs for big fish scenarios without stepping outside the spin-jig concept.
Unusual pairing: L power in a 7'6" blank. The extra length at low power yields long, controlled casts with micro lures, designed for spotted bass and smallmouth on open reservoirs.
