IMX Pro Bass Sjr

Spinning-only series built exclusively for spin jig and finesse bass presentations, Ned rigs, small tube baits, spy baits, marabou jigs, and light jerkbaits on big clear-water impoundments. The target angler is a smallmouth or largemouth bass fisherman working light line (6–15 lb) on larger bodies of water where long-distance presentations and bite detection matter more than power. These are optimized for subtlety and feedback. Blanks are built on technique-specific mandrels using G.

Loomis's proprietary IMX material, with the stated result of up to 15% weight reduction versus comparable models while retaining crisp responsiveness. The SJR designation (Spin Jig Rod) communicates the focus directly in the model name. Fuji K-frame tangle-free guides, full cork grip, and Fuji reel seat are standard across the series. Third-party reviewers consistently note the SJR series as lighter and more sensitive than the E6X line at a lower price point than the GLX.

All eight are spinning rods with fast action. Power runs L to MH. Lengths cover 6' (two 721/722), 6'6" (two 782/783), 7' (two 842/843), and 7'6" (two 901/902).
