GLX 23 Fpr Casting

The GLX 23 FPR is G. Loomis's premium flip-and-pitch rod series within the 2023 GLX Bass lineup, built for heavy-cover bass fishing, matted vegetation punching, dock flipping, and pitching dense structure with weighted soft plastics, heavy jigs, and punch rigs. The H and XH power ratings and heavy line ratings (17–25 lb and 20–25 lb) position this firmly in the power-fishing bracket. Blanks use G. Loomis's proprietary high-modulus graphite and advanced resin blend, built on rolled stepped mandrels with micro-tapers at high-stress zones, a construction specifically engineered to balance blank stiffness with impact durability under the repetitive loading of power pitching and punching.

The Fuji K SiC tangle-free guide train handles heavy braid. Premium cork handle with custom CI4+ reel seat provides direct blank contact and weight savings. Hand-built in Woodland, Washington. Warranty details standard for G. Loomis. Three models: two at 7'5" (GLX 894C FPR at H, GLX 895C FPR at XH) and one at 7'11" (GLX 954C FPR at H). The 7'5" pair covers the core flipping/pitching range with H for most applications and XH for the heaviest punch rigs.

The 7'11" H extends reach for longer pitches or when fishing from elevated positions. The longer model shares H power with the 894C, the 7'11" trades some responsiveness for reach.
