High-end casting series engineered for bottom-contact bass techniques, jigs, Texas-rigged worms, Carolina rigs, and creature baits, where tactile feedback and hook-setting authority are the primary performance criteria. Built for the serious bass angler who fishes jigs regularly in both clear and stained water. The NRX+ designation sits at the top of the G. Loomis consumer line, below only GLX in price and claimed sensitivity. Blanks use proprietary Spiral X technology (cross-wrapped carbon fiber for torsional rigidity) combined with Multi-Taper Design, placing more material at stress points and less elsewhere.
American-made. CI4+ reel seats are chosen to minimize blank damping and maximize vibration transfer. Hybrid guide train with premium split-grip cork handles. Third-party reviews consistently describe these as among the most sensitive jig rods available, noting the NRX+ blank material produces a distinctive feedback quality not replicated by heavier blanks. All eight are baitcasting rods. The lineup runs 6'8" to 7'5" and M to XH power. Most models carry XF (extra-fast) action; the three H and XH models step down to F action, acknowledging that a very fast tip on heavy power creates an overly stiff presentation.
Two lengths (6'8", 7'1", 7'5") each get an M, MH, and H or XH variant, giving a matrix of length vs. Power for matching to jig weight and cover type.
