The G. Loomis IMX-Pro Blue Casting series is a dedicated Northeast US saltwater inshore and light-offshore baitcasting rod lineup. Primary serves are striped bass, weakfish, false albacore, and bluefish from boat or shore in coastal environments, not the open-water billfish market. The series is priced below NRX+ ($350–385 MSRP) while retaining Loomis's multi-taper blank technology and Fuji guide system. Blanks use G. Loomis Multi-Taper Technology for high strength-to-weight ratios with specific saltwater-adapted actions.
Guides are Fuji Fazlite K-frame, designed for braided-line use and salt corrosion resistance, which matters in this application. Full cork front and rear grips, Fuji reel seats throughout. The line ratings on these rods (15–80lb) indicate they are are built for heavier braided and fluorocarbon presentations typical of striper and larger inshore species. Six casting models span 7'0" to 7'9" in M and MH power with MF, F, XF, and M actions. The 843C MF (7'0" M, moderate-fast) is noted by the manufacturer as a fluke rod, its softer action gives the jig more play.
The 845C M (7'0" H, moderate) is a striper rod rated for 30–80lb, built for pulling fish from structure. The 863C XF (7'2" M, extra-fast) handles swimbaits and lighter presentations. The 903C M and 904C MF at 7'6" cover longer-range work; the 933C F at 7'9" is the longest, suited to extended casting or trolling where reach is the priority.

Manufacturer-designated fluke rod. The MF action provides the lure play that makes a paddle-tail or bucktail fluke dart and pause, too-fast an action kills that motion. Good choice for light jig work and soft plastics on light to medium braid.
Heaviest line rating in the series at 30–80lb and moderate action. Built to turn large stripers away from barnacle-covered structure. The moderate action absorbs head-shakes; the H power provides the backbone for pulling fish from obstructions.
Extra-fast M-power model for swimbaits and lighter jigs where sensitivity and instant hookset matter more than lure movement. The XF tip telegraphs subtle takes on slower-worked presentations, useful in clear or cold conditions when fish are following instead of striking.
Longest rod in the series at 7'9". The extended length and F action make it well-suited for trolling or long-range casting from boat, covering water where distance and a loaded blank provide more strike detection than tip sensitivity alone.
