A dedicated Carolina-rig casting series, outside the crankbait rod lane, despite the similar CRR designation. Built for sweeping long casts with heavy bullet sinkers across soft-bottom flats, dragging plastics through offshore structure. The target angler drags Carolina rigs over open water and benefits from long rods with powerful mid and butt sections. Not well-suited to crankbait fishing or sensitive finesse work.

IMX-PRO high-modulus blank with strategic scrim placement tunes the taper for Carolina-rig specifics: the tip preserves bottom feel through sinker contact, while the mid and butt transition aggressively under load for the long, sweeping hooksets the technique requires. Up to 18% lighter than comparable E6X. Fuji K-Frame guides handle repeated long casts and thick leader knots cleanly. Subtly tapered rear grip provides split-grip balance.

Two H-power, fast-action casting rods at nominally 7'3", the 874C CRR (14-20lb, 5/16-3/4oz) serves medium-weight sinker setups over open structure, and the 875C CRR (17-25lb, 3/8-1.5oz) handles heavier sinkers and larger plastic trailers. Both casting only. The heavier 875C suits windy conditions and deeper drags.

The heavier variant, 17-25lb line and sinkers to 1.5oz means this handles deeper or windier conditions where heavier bullet weights keep the rig tracking. More backbone than the 874C; a dedicated heavy-drag application.
