The IMX-PRO JBR Spinning is a single-model spinning rod from G. Loomis specialized for jerkbait applications using spinning tackle, a technique favored in cold-water, finesse, or clear-water situations where light fluorocarbon and spinning gear outperform baitcasting setups. At 6'9" with Medium power and Fast action, it accommodates suspending and slow-sinking jerkbaits in the 1/4–3/8 oz range on 8–15 lb line. The target angler works the rod with a slack-line snap-pause cadence, relying on tip recovery speed to load the bait and the medium midsection to absorb runs on open treble hooks.

IMX-PRO multi-taper-technology blanks reduce weight versus prior IMX generations while delivering faster blank recovery than a conventional taper of equivalent power. Strategic scrim placement refines the tip section specifically for jerkbait snap loads, while the mid-section provides steady pressure to keep treble-hooked fish pinned during the fight. Fuji K-frame tangle-free guides keep light line clear of the blank. Cork handles use a subtly tapered rear grip for a split-grip approximation with more contact area.

One model: IMX-PRO 812S JBR (6'9", M, F, 8–15 lb, 1/4–3/8 oz, spinning). The baitcasting counterpart (812C JBR) is cataloged as a separate series. No power or length variants exist within this series designation.
