The G. Loomis IMX Pro JWR (Jig and Worm) Spinning series is a premium finesse bass spinning lineup sold as the foundational range within the IMX Pro family. It is made for tournament and serious recreational anglers made for largemouth and smallmouth bass with soft plastic rigs including Texas rigs, Carolina rigs, wacky rigs, weightless worms, and light finesse jigs. Crankbait, or saltwater rod. All actions are Extra Fast (XF), which allows the rod to load at the tip for sensitivity while maintaining a stiff mid and butt for powerful hook sets on light line.
Blanks are built from G. Loomis's high-modulus, high-performance IMX Pro material using strategic scrim placement, delivering up to 18% weight savings over equivalent E6X models. Guides are tangle-free Fuji K-frames. Handles are full cork with Fuji components; the 802S/803S/852S/853S models use a shorter Handle A (14.5") while the 892S/893S use a longer Handle B (16") suited for extended casting leverage. The rods are handcrafted in Woodland, Washington, USA. Six spinning models pair M and MH powers at three lengths: 6'8" (802S/803S), 7'1" (852S/853S), and 7'5" (892S/893S).
Within each length pair, the medium model serves lighter line and finer presentations; the MH handles heavier soft plastics and stronger jig hooks. The 7'5" models step into deeper-water drag-and-hop jig territory for smallmouth and spotted bass. Prices run $380–$390.

A closer look at notable models.
The lightest, shortest option; 6-10 lb / 1/8–1/4 oz is suited to wacky rigs, dropshots, and ultra-light jigs on fluorocarbon. The short length improves lure manipulation accuracy in tight quarters and boat docks.
The long medium model; 7'5" with a 16" handle provides extra casting distance for deep-water finesse presentations at smallmouth spots and river systems. Extended handle supports two-hand sweep strikes in deeper drag situations.
The heaviest model in the lineup; 8–14 lb / 1/8–7/16 oz MH at 7'5" serves heavier Texas-rigged plastics, football jigs, and larger finesse jigs requiring more hook-setting authority. The extra length aids deep bottom contact detection.
