The IMX-PRO Steelhead Bead Spinning is a single-model spinning rod from G. Loomis shaped around the bead technique, fishing small plastic or glass beads pegged above a bare hook to imitate salmon eggs drifting through the current column. At 10 ft with ML power and Medium-Fast action, it is tuned to balance three competing demands: casting accuracy to drift seams precisely, dead-drift control and mending under tension, and the progressive-loading fight authority needed to subdue steelhead in fast current on light leaders.

The target angler is a Pacific Northwest or Great Lakes steelheader fishing rivers during fall and winter salmon egg-drop windows.
