The IMX-PRO SYR Spinning is a single-model spinning rod from G. Loomis built for the shaky head rig, a bottom-contact finesse presentation where a light jighead and soft plastic are worked slowly along the bottom with subtle rod tip agitation. At 6'10" with Mag-Medium power and Extra-Fast action, the rod is tuned to maximize sensitivity to bottom contact and subtle bites while the extra-fast tip allows precise lure movement without imparting excessive action on a stationary jig.

The target angler fishes clear-water lakes, deeper main-lake structure, or pressured fisheries where finesse is required. IMX-PRO multi-taper blank technology reduces weight and increases stiffness versus prior IMX generations. The extra-fast taper moves sensitivity down the blank efficiently while maintaining the strength needed to pull fish from light cover. Fuji K-frame tangle-free guides keep light fluorocarbon clear of the blank.

Premium cork handles with split-grip configuration. Handcrafted in Woodland, WA. One model: IMX-PRO 822S SYR (6'10", Mag-Medium, XF, 8–12 lb, 1/8–5/16 oz, spinning). The SYR designation denotes shaky-head rod. Shares the same body dimensions and power/action as the drop-shot model (822S DSR) in a different series entry, reflecting G. Loomis's technique-specific blank tuning philosophy.
