The IMX-PRO Umbrella is a single-model series built specifically for fishing umbrella rigs (Alabama rigs) in freshwater. It fits bass anglers who throw multi-wire frame rigs tipped with swimbaits, a technique that demands a rod capable of loading under sustained resistance while still telegraphing strikes. The intended angler is a tournament or serious recreational bass fisherman who has dedicated tackle for this technique.

The blank uses G. Loomis multi-taper technology, building up to 15% lighter and stronger than prior IMX blanks while maintaining the stiffness needed to move heavy rig assemblies. Fuji K-frame guides are tangle-free, an important detail on a rod that regularly has multiple leaders whipping around the guides during the cast. The subtly tapered rear grip provides split-grip feel in a full-grip format, and the blank is handcrafted in Woodland, Washington.

The lineup is a single rod: the IMX-PRO 915C UBR, a 7'7" one-piece casting rod rated Heavy power with Fast action, line 40–65 lb (braid), lure 2–6 oz. The single-SKU format reflects how specialized umbrella-rig fishing is; no power or length variants are offered.

7'7" length provides leverage to cast heavy multi-wire assemblies while the Heavy/Fast combination loads enough to feel strikes through the weight of the rig. Braid-only line rating (40–65 lb) reflects the near-universal use of braided main line with this technique.
