The NRX+ Bladed Jig is a single-model casting series from G. Loomis shaped around the specific cadence and load demands of bladed-jig (chatterbait-style) fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass. The target angler retrieves bladed jigs through grass edges, chunk-rock, and open water with consistent rod-tip oscillation, a technique that punishes blank recovery speed. The 7'4" MH length gives enough reach to pull fish from cover without sacrificing the feel needed to sense grass contact.
The blank is built on Shimano's Spiral-X construction, in which carbon tape is wound diagonally in opposite directions to raise torsional rigidity without weight penalty. This reduces blank twist under the cyclic load of a chatterbait's blade, improving lure tracking and response. The guide system mixes Fuji Titanium SiC rings at the stripper and lower stations with ultra-lite RECOIL guides up the blank, a hybrid chosen for casting distance, guide weight, and snag-resistance.
The CI4+ reel seat is cast directly around the blank for minimal deadening of vibration transfer. As a single-rod series, there is no power or length variant. The NRX+ 883C BJR (7'4", MH, Fast, 12–16 lb, 3/16–5/8 oz) is the entirety of the lineup. It is handcrafted in Woodland, WA, carries a limited lifetime warranty, and sits at the upper end of G. Loomis's price structure below the GLX tier.
