The G. Loomis NRX+ Spin Jig series is a high-end freshwater spinning lineup built for finesse bass techniques that require precise lure control and low-weight detection, hair jigging, swim jigs on spinning gear, spy baits, micro cranks, and drop shots fished on lighter mono or FC. Anglers here are tournament or serious recreational bass fishers willing to pay a premium for blank performance. Blanks use Shimano's Spiral X graphite wrapping combined with a Multi-Taper design that reinforces stress zones while removing excess material elsewhere.

The result is unusually low swing weight for the blank strength. RECOIL titanium alloy single-foot guides throughout save additional mass; Fuji titanium SiC stripper guides handle high-tension shock loads. A CI4+ reel seat and split cork grip complete the package. All models are Fast action; sensitivity and fast tip recovery are the design priorities. Handbuilt in Woodland, Washington. Five spinning models span 6'6"–7'6" in powers from ML to MH. The 6'6" M (782S) is the compact finesse option.

The 7'0" range gives anglers both M (842S) and MH (843S), the latter stepping up for heavier jig heads (to 3/4 oz) and leader material. Two 7'6" models, ML (901S) for the lightest jig work (1/16 oz) and M (902S) for standard medium finesse, provide reach and line-angle management in deeper or faster water. All are single-piece.

A closer look at notable models.

NRX+ 843S SJR Spinning · 7'0" · MH · F action

Only MH model in the series. Handles heavier swim jig or larger blade bait presentations where the same Fast-action sensitivity is needed but with more backbone for moving fish out of cover.

NRX+ 901S SJR Spinning · 7'6" · ML · F action

Lightest-rated model in the lineup at ML and minimum 1/16 oz. Built for the most delicate finesse presentations, hair jigs in clear water, micro drop shots, where the 7'6" length aids line-angle control and casting distance on light line.
