The G. Loomis Salmon Series Casting is a single-model heavy-duty rod designed for Pacific salmon fishing techniques including ocean mooching, river drift fishing, back-bouncing, and plug fishing. It fits anglers who need a rod with a sensitive, relatively fast tip for detecting subtle current-drift takes and a powerful butt section for moving large fish out of heavy water or boat structure.
The lure weight rating in the spec sheet reflects trolling and mooching sinker weights. The blank uses GL2 composite construction, G.
