Walleye Ur IMX S
IMX-grade multi-technique walleye spinning rod for jigs, rigs, and light casting
Built for walleye anglers who need a single rod to handle multiple presentations, casting jigs, rigging, and light jigging vertically. The WUR (Universal Rod) designation signals its cross-technique intent: it works for jigging shallow flats, pitching to structure, and drifting live bait rigs. Target angler is a serious walleye specialist who wants IMX-grade sensitivity without buying a rod for every specific method.
Blanks are IMX super-high modulus graphite, a step below Loomis's NRX and GLX tiers but offering strong sensitivity-to-weight ratio. The fast taper gives responsive tip feedback for detecting subtle walleye bites, while the blank loads smoothly for cast-and-retrieve. Full cork handle is standard for the lineup. Guides are downsized relative to general-use rods to reduce weight and improve sensitivity, outside the heavy-lure blank lane.
Two spinning models: the 782S WUR at 6'6" with M power and F action (1/8–3/8 oz, 6–12 lb) handles heavier jigs and longer casts; the 841S WUR at 7'0" with L power and F action (1/16–5/16 oz, 6–10 lb) handles finesse jig presentations, drop-shot, and light rigs. The shorter, heavier model suits rivers and wind; the longer light model suits open-water drift fishing.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 2 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.

Model notes
All 2 modelsMedium power suits heavier jig heads and spinner rigs in current or wind. The 6'6" length is manageable from a boat seat when vertical presentation mixes with casting without excessive reach.
Light power at 7 ft is tailored for finesse walleye work, small jigs, slip-sinker rigs, and split-shot presentations on open flats. XF tip sensitivity rewards patient anglers detecting soft takes at distance.
