The Jester is Jackson's flagship sea bass rod series, six models covering a wide range of sea bass casting styles from ultra-technical finesse to heavy topwater and rubber jig work. The series includes four spinning and two baitcasting models. Two models carry the SP (Suspension) designation, indicating blanks tuned for shock absorption during the fight rather than stiffness-first casting efficiency.
The spinning side spans the JSS-610M-SP (6ft10in Medium, Suspension, MAX35g), JSS-611MH (6ft11in MH, Regular Fast, MAX45g), JSS-701XMH-SP (7ft1in MH Suspension, MAX60g), and JSS-705XMH+ LC (7ft5in MH +Power Long Cast, MAX65g). The casting side covers the JSC-66TL-P+ (6ft6in Technical Light +Power, MAX20g) for finesse presentations and the JSC-62IIIXH (6ft2in IIIExtra Heavy, MAX180g) for heavy rubber jigs and large topwater plugs.
