Metal Tribe

The Metal Tribe is Jackson's dedicated shore metal jig series, three rods covering 9ft8in (Medium), 10ft (Medium Heavy), and 10ft6in (Heavy). Each model specifies separate lure weight ceilings for jigs and plugs: the Medium handles 30-80g jigs and plugs to 60g; the MH takes 60-100g jigs and plugs to 80g; the Heavy handles 60-120g jigs and plugs to 100g. All three use Fast action blanks and PE MAX#3, #4, and #5 respectively.

Rod weights run from 257g to 331g, reflecting the structural requirements of throwing heavy metal from shore. The series targets amberjack, almaco jack, and other surf-accessible pelagic species that respond to long-distance metal jig presentations along current lines and channel edges from rocky headlands.

The Metal Tribe sits in the same price range as the Surf Tribe (¥31,900-¥34,100) and is intended as a complementary purchase for anglers who cover both flatfish-style surf lure fishing and metal jig work from the same coastline locations.
