Ocean Gate Boat Sea Bass

The Ocean Gate Boat Sea Bass is a four-model series covering inshore and estuary sea bass fishing from a boat or kayak platform. Three spinning models (ML at 6ft7in, M at 6ft10in, MH at 7ft2in) pair with one heavy baitcasting model (JOG-C65XXH at 6ft5in) to give anglers both finesse and power options within the series. Lure weights run from MAX26g at the spinning ML end to MAX130g for the XX Heavy casting model.

All three spinning models use Fast action blanks and PE MAX#1.5 to #2 line. The casting model uses a Regular Fast action paired with PE MAX#5, suited to heavy topwater plugs and rubber jigs around structure. Rod weights are light across the spinning trio (94g to 119g), keeping the series comfortable for extended drift or anchor sessions.

The series is priced in the mid-entry range at ¥19,800 to ¥22,550. It covers the primary needs of a boat sea bass angler from light finesse work with the ML to heavy cover fishing with the XX Heavy casting model, without requiring separate series purchases.
