Cedros Surf Csx Rod

The Cedros Surf CSX is Okuma's mid-to-upper-tier surf spinning series built for heavy surf casting along sandy beaches and rocky points. Primary serves are striped bass, large redfish, snook, and other surf species requiring distance and the ability to throw heavy payloads (1.5–8 oz). The moderate-fast action is a deliberate choice for surf fishing, it loads smoothly into a long stroke, maximising distance without the shock-casting fatigue of a true fast stick, while the loaded tip section also handles live bait and cut bait rigs with light-wire hooks.

Blanks are 30-ton carbon fiber. Guides are ALPS 316-grade stainless steel frames (rated 1,200+ hours salt spray) with Zirconium inserts sized for braid compatibility, small-diameter inserts reduce braid slap. Custom handle set with extended rear grip for two-handed pendulum casting. Construction prioritises durability and corrosion resistance appropriate for repeated saltwater exposure. All models are likely 2-piece based on pack dimensions and size.

Six spinning models covering 9'0" to 11'0" in MH, M, and H powers. The 9' MH (CSX-S-902MH) is the shortest and likely most accurate option for rocky points; the 11'0" MH (CSX-S-1102MH) adds maximum distance for wide, flat sandy beaches. The 10'0" models offer a mid-range choice in three powers. No casting/conventional models in this series.
