Okuma's DTR Custom Offshore series covers stand-up and boat trolling, deep-drop, jigging, and popping applications in a single lineup. Anglers here are saltwater boat fishers made for large pelagics. Billfish, tuna, wahoo. And bottom species at depth. Line ratings from 30–250 lb confirm the series sits in the heavy-offshore category. Blanks vary by application: jigging and popping models use a pure 24-ton carbon construction; trolling models blend 24-ton carbon with E-glass for additional dampening.
All models feature a 3K-woven carbon outer wrap for hoop strength and Okuma's UFRII tip reinforcement. Guide specs differ by role: jigging/popping rods get Fuji K-Concept frames with Alconite inserts (braid-compatible); trolling rods use ALPS 316-grade stainless steel frames with zirconium inserts and aluminum roller tips. All trolling models have machined aluminum gun-smoke gimbals. Backed by a 3-year limited warranty. Nine rods: seven casting, two spinning.
Lengths cluster at 5'8"–6'6" for the casting boat rods (typical stand-up and conventional trolling lengths) with a 7'6" spinning outlier for lighter jigging or popping. Powers range MH (30–100 lb) through XXH (80–250 lb). Two models carry an "ST" suffix showing a stiffer tip variant for specific live-bait or jigging presentations.

The "ST" (stiffer tip) fast-action variant at 50–150 lb. Fast tip improves sensitivity for live-bait drops or vertical jigging where telegraphing strikes quickly matters.
Heaviest conventional rod in the lineup at 80–250 lb, 6'6". Suited to stand-up heavy-drag trolling for large tuna or billfish. The MF action provides some blank-loading during fights while keeping recovery fast enough for fast trolling spreads.
The only long spinning model (7'6") in the lineup, covering 60–100 lb PE range and 2–10 oz lures. Built for popper/stickbait casting at bluewater shoals or reef edges where distance and lure action are priorities.
