Base-level crappie spinning series, the entry point in Okuma's TEC crappie lineup. Serves recreational crappie anglers on lakes and impoundments using small jigs, tube baits, and curly-tail grubs. The TEC Series uses stainless steel guides with Zirconium inserts and a standard stainless reel seat hood, serviceable for the application but a tier below the Fuji-equipped TEC Custom Series. Price point positions these for anglers who want a dedicated crappie rod without moving up to the Custom.

Blanks are 24-ton carbon, same platform as the Custom Series. The practical difference is in guides and reel seat: stainless/Zirconium instead of Fuji K-Concept/Alconite. Fore and rear tapered cork grip shared with the Custom. Weight and overall rod character will be nearly identical to the Custom in hand, the hardware change is the primary distinguishing factor. But anglers running braid will notice slightly more friction at guides than on the Alconite Custom.

Lineup mirrors the Custom exactly: four spinning models at identical lengths (6'0", 6'6", 6'10", 7'3"), same L power, same F action, same 4–8 lb / 1/16–1/4 oz ratings. The two series appear to share blank architecture with differentiated hardware. Length selection logic is identical: shorter rods for confined boat fishing, longer for open-water or bank applications.
