Voyager Signature Boat Rods

A 3-piece travel boat rod series designed for anglers who need offshore or inshore boat-fishing performance in a packable form. Primary use cases: saltwater boat fishing for mid-size species where 30–60 lb line is appropriate, think jigging, bottom fishing, light offshore. The ML models (15–40 lb) cover lighter inshore or bay work. These are not casting rods in the bass sense; the Fuji gimbal butt means they're intended for rod-holder deployment or belt-harness use against large fish.

Blanks are 24-ton carbon fiber, 3-piece with European spigot ferrule connections, designed to minimize the 'dead spot' typical of travel rods at the joints. Each rod ships with two rod tips (ML/M or M/MH pairing), providing coverage across two power ratings. Fuji DPS reel seat and Fuji Tangle Free guides with FazLite inserts. Tapered TPE fore and rear grips. The UFRII (Ultra Flexible Rod Reinforcing Insert) tip technology reinforces the tip section against breakage under load.

Five models: three casting, two spinning. Two lengths, 6'6" (casting only) and 7'. The 6'6" MH model is the most powerful entry for heavy boat jigging. The 7' ML casting and spinning pair (VSB-C-703ML-M, VSB-S-703ML-M) target lighter applications. All models share MF (moderate-fast) action. The spinning and casting variants at 7' are functionally equivalent except for reel type preference.
