The Spec 1 line covers compact telescopic poles in two tiers. The base spec.1 comes in four lengths from 2.1m (6'11") to 3.0m (9'10"), all packing to 29.5cm. Sections use anodized aluminum hardware on the tip cap, and a 1680-denier nylon case is included with each rod. Carbon content runs 51% to 64% across the four lengths; rod weights are 57g (210), 66g (240), 94g (270), and 112g (300). The spec.1 covers freshwater small-fish fishing from small streams to wider rivers and tolerates light coastal use.

The spec.01+ sits above the base model. It uses a zoom system that fixes three length positions per rod. The 220/240/260 model spans 2.22m, 2.42m, and 2.62m (7'3", 7'11", 8'7"); the 280/300/320 spans 2.79m, 3.01m, and 3.22m (9'2", 9'10", 10'7"). Both versions use 90% carbon blanks with a wooden grip that shifts the balance toward the handle, reducing tip-heaviness during extended sessions. Pack lengths are 30.6cm and 32.6cm. Each model is available in Black and Silver finishes, with a meaningful weight difference between colorways: the 220/240/260 is 116g (Black) or 99g (Silver); the 280/300/320 is 164g (Black) or 141g (Silver).

The spec.1 and spec.01+ target the same small-fish freshwater applications. The spec.1 offers a fixed length per model; the spec.01+ provides adjustable reach in the same pack footprint, with the wooden grip and higher carbon content adding to its price premium.

spec.01+ 220/240/260 Pole · 7'3"-7'11"-8'7"

The spec.01+ zoom system locks at three fixed positions. The wooden grip moves the balance rearward compared to the base spec.1, reducing wrist fatigue during repetitive presentation strokes. Available in Black (116g) and Silver (99g); the 17g difference is the grip material accounting for the colorway hardware.

spec.1 270 Pole · 8'10"

Midpoint of the spec.1 range; 12-piece telescopic that packs to 29.5cm. At 2.7m (8'10"), it suits most freshwater small-fish applications from urban streams to ponds. The 53% carbon blank is softer than the shorter models, producing a full-parabolic bend on small fish.
