Blue Bight

The Blue Bight is TFO's USA-made inshore spinning series, hand-built at the company's Grand Prairie, Texas facility. It serves coastal saltwater species, redfish, speckled trout, flounder, snook, in bay, flat, and nearshore environments. The series sits above the Tactical Inshore in TFO's lineup in terms of construction quality and price, with the Made-in-USA designation being a key differentiator. The target angler fishes inshore coastal waters and wants domestic manufacture with a lifetime warranty.

Blanks are Toray carbon fiber with fast action across the board. The build uses carbon fiber tape wrapping (instead of traditional thread epoxy) for 10–15% weight reduction and higher tensile strength. Fuji K-Frame anti-tangle guides with Alconite inserts handle braid well. Premium Fuji TVS up-locking spinning reel seat. Custom cork grips. The Aquamarine blank finish is visually distinctive. TFO backs the series with a full lifetime warranty against defects, which is unusual in the mid-premium segment.

Eight spinning models, Casting rods is absent. All fast action. Lengths are 7' and 7'6" with one 7'10" heavy model at the top. Powers run from ML through H across both length groups, the 7' and 7'6" slots each contain L/ML, M, and MH variants. The 7'10" H model with lure weight up to 5 oz is the exception, stepping into light nearshore or jetty territory. The series stays spin-only and inshore-focused throughout.
