The TFO Resolve Bass is a freshwater baitcasting series made for experienced bass anglers who want a single versatile rod instead of a technique-specific tool. It handles a broad range of presentations, from finesse casting with medium power to moving baits and power applications with heavy power, across clear and stained water. All six models are one-piece casting rods priced at $299.95, backed by TFO's lifetime warranty. Blanks are built on Toray carbon fiber with Seaguide SS316 stainless tangle-free frames and silicon nitride (RS) inserts.
Reel seats are soft-touch feel-through design; grips are AAA cork. Color-coded accents near the handle indicate power class at a glance. Rod weights run 4.1–5.2 oz. Construction quality is consistent across the lineup. The series sits above TFO's Option and Taction Bass lines in price and component specification. All six models are casting (baitcasting) only, spanning 7'0" to 7'6". Power progression runs M, M+, H, MH, H, H, the two 7'2" and 7'4" H-power models share identical ratings, differentiated by length.
Five models carry fast action; the 7'6" RB C 766-1 steps down to moderate-fast, making it the softer choice for moving baits. Spinning models are included in this particular six-rod batch (the full series includes spinning variants sold separately) is absent.
Deeper Dive
A closer look at notable models.
Entry-power model for finesse casting applications, jigs, Texas rigs, light swimbaits. Fast action and M power suit worm fishing and moderate-sized soft plastics on lighter fluorocarbon.
M+ is a non-standard intermediate power rating that bridges M and MH. Useful for slightly heavier jigs or swimbaits where full MH would be overpowered. Niche but deliberate placement in the lineup.
The only moderate-fast model in the series. The softer tip loads better for moving baits, crankbaits, chatterbaits, swim jigs, where a full-fast action would pull hooks. Heaviest rod in the lineup at 5.2 oz.
