Centra Bass

The Centra Bass is TFO's top-tier bass casting series, USA-made at Grand Prairie, Texas, with tournament input from professional anglers. It sits in the same Made-in-USA premium tier as the Blue Bight for inshore fishing but focused on freshwater bass, covering modern technique diversity from light finesse work through mag-heavy applications. The target angler is a tournament or serious recreational bass fisherman demanding domestic build quality with Toray high-modulus blank performance.

Blanks are Toray high-modulus carbon fiber, with TFO's color-coded power system for quick identification at $349.95 retail. Fuji guides and reel seats throughout. The series explicitly covers a wide range of bass techniques, and the inclusion of both fast and moderate-fast actions across adjacent power classes reflects technique-specific design instead of simple power stepping. A BL (Big Lure) variant of the 7' M power model indicates dedicated heavy lure construction on an otherwise standard-looking frame.

Eight casting models, Spinning rods is absent. Lengths range from 7' to 7'10", all baitcasting. Actions are predominantly F (fast) and MF (moderate-fast) with one M model. Powers span M through H. The lone 7'10" H/MF model reaches 3/4–5 oz lure weight for big swimbaits. The M+/F 7'1" and MH/F 7'3" cover jig, Texas rig, and medium crankbait work. The BL 7' M/M variant is the slow-roll and crankbait option.
