The TFO Professional casting series is a guide-service workhorse, designed to hold up to daily rental and heavy use while covering a broad range of bass and freshwater techniques. TFO markets it explicitly as suited for guides who need reliable, affordable rods that can be placed in clients' hands repeatedly. The moderate-fast action across all six models is a deliberate choice for versatility: it handles soft plastics, moving baits, and topwater without demanding technique-specific rods for each.
Standard modulus carbon fiber is used instead of premium-modulus material, a trade that prioritizes durability over sensitivity. Blanks are standard-modulus carbon fiber with powerful butt sections. Down-locking reel seats with premium cork and EVA foam accents address comfort and reel security for varied grip sizes. Seaguide Atlas stainless guides with LS inserts are specified for braid performance and distance casting. The moderate-fast action is consistent across all powers (M through H), giving the series a unified casting feel.
Construction serves durability over light weight. All six models are casting, spanning 6'6" to 7'6" with M, MH, and H power options. The 6'6" and 7'0" lengths each offer M and MH variants (PC 664/665 and PC 704/705); a 7'0" H (PC 706) rounds out the power range; and a 7'6" MH (PC 765) anchors the long end. No H-power 7'6" exists, and Spinning models appear in this six-rod batch is absent. The lineup covers finesse-to-power casting with MF action throughout.

Shortest, lightest-power option. Suitable for close-quarters bass work, dock fishing, or techniques where shorter length aids control. M power at 6'6" with MF action is a common all-around configuration for guide-client use.
Heaviest power at the mid-length. Handles punching, big swimbaits, or heavy flipping without going to the longer 7'6" blank. MF action on an H blank still gives anglers some tip flex for bait feel.
