BlueCurrent TZ/NANO
Flagship light game rods on Nanoalloy carbon with Torzite guides, 6'2" to 9'3"
BlueCurrent TZ/NANO is Yamaga Blanks' flagship light game series. The blanks use carbon made with Toray's Nanoalloy technology, and every model carries Fuji Torzite-ring titanium-frame K guides on a Fuji VSS16 seat, with carbon content of 99.7 to 99.8 percent. Yamaga describes the series as built to extend what ultra-fine light lines can do rather than as a small-fish rod, with a sharp, stable cast and butt power that comes in as the blank bends.
The lineup is grouped by job. The 610Plug Quickness and 73Plug Seamless are micro-plugging rods for aji and mebaru, rated for plugs of 1.5 to 6 g on PE 0.1 to 0.4, with jigheads as a secondary use. The 62, 67 and 71 JH-Special models are bare-jighead rods from 6'2" to 7'1" on 1 to 4 lb nylon or fluorocarbon, or PE to 0.4; production of all three ended in 2025. The 83 Flex uses its 8'3" length to cast jigheads of 0.8 to 5 g, rigs to 10.5 g and plugs to 8 g a long way while keeping control at range.
The 85 and 93 All-Range are the power models, both rated 3 to 21 g on PE 0.4 to 1 and pitched at rockfish, black sea bream, seabass, aji and squid from one rod. The 85 dates to 2016, and the 93 extends it to 9'3" with more butt power for longer casts and heavier fish. Japanese retail runs from ¥40,500 to ¥54,500 ex-tax.

The sensitive tip is meant to show the smallest bite on a straight retrieve with minnows and sinking pencils.
