Mebius is the eging series Yamaga Blanks released in 2018, its tenth year, with the stated aim of high performance and durability at a lower price than its other eging rods. The six shore models are 2-piece put-over ferrule rods of 96.4 to 96.6 percent carbon on Fuji SiC K guides, rated by egi size from 1.8号 to 4.5号 with gram ceilings of 21 to 35 g, on PE 0.3 to 1.2. Yamaga describes the Mebius blanks as more flexible than Calista, with a wide release point for casting distance, and versatile enough for aji, rockfish, black sea bream, seabass and light jigging as well as aori squid.
The two L rods are the 710L, a short, sensitive rod for ultra-fine PE that bends through its length and takes egi from the small sizes used for hi-ika (small squid) up to 3.5号, and the 88L, a light class for short-pitch and slack jerks and sight fishing. The 85ML is the softer all-rounder for a wide range of egi weights and for anglers from beginners up. The 79M is a short power model for 4号 egi, quick work in warm water and boat eging, and the 86M is the core medium model, mainly for 3.5号 with the stiffness to throw 4号. The 83MH is the heavy model for 3.5 to 4号 egi and 4.5号 heavy types, aimed at aori over 2 kg.

All 6 models7'9" short power model for egi to 4号 (to 28 g) on PE 0.5 to 1, for quick work in warm water and drawing squid in close. Also suited to boat eging.
7'10" short, sensitive model for ultra-fine PE 0.3 to 0.6 that bends through its length, rated 1.8 to 3.5号 (to 21 g). Covers small egi for hi-ika and other squid up to 3.5号, with the butt power for squid over 2 kg.
8'3" medium-heavy model for 3.5 to 4号 egi and 4.5号 heavy types (to 35 g) on PE 0.6 to 1.2, aimed at aori over 2 kg. Stays light in use through long waits for migrating squid.
8'5" all-rounder, softer overall than the 86M, for a wide range of egi weights from small sight-fishing twitches to hard jerks, rated 2.5 to 3.5号 (to 24 g). Suited to anglers from beginners up.
8'6" core medium model mainly for 3.5号 egi, with the stiffness to throw 4号 (to 30 g) on PE 0.5 to 1. Pairs a supple tip and belly with medium butt power to work the egi with little input.
8'8" light-class rod for short-pitch and slack jerks and autumn sight fishing, rated 2.5 to 3.5号 (to 21 g) on PE 0.4 to 0.8. Made mainly for light line, with the butt power for aori over 2 kg.
