SeaWalk Light Jigging
Inshore tungsten light jigging, 15 to 150 g, in three spinning and three bait models
SeaWalk Light Jigging is the inshore boat jigging line in Yamaga Blanks' SeaWalk range, released in 2018 for light jigging with tungsten jigs. Three spinning and three bait models cover jigs from 15 g to 150 g on PE 0.4 to 1.5, for grunt (isaki), aji, hairtail, flatfish, sea bream, seabass, rockfish and smaller aomono. All six share a flexible tip that lets a jig swim and fall naturally, a belly that works the jig, and a butt that Yamaga states has the power for fish over 5 kg, on grip-joint 2-piece blanks with Fuji SiC-S K guides.
The spinning models (67UL, 64L, 64ML) have a slightly stiffer tip and a shorter rear grip than Yamaga's tai-jigging rods, for underhand casts, angled retrieves and active hooksets. The 67UL works jigs of 15 to 40 g to about 40 m and casts to 25 g, the 64L is the standard inshore model at 30 to 80 g to about 80 m, and the 64ML handles 60 to 120 g at 50 to 100 m or in fast current.
The bait models (B66L, B66ML, B65M) combine a sharp, flexible tip for hairtail with a moderately stiff belly that also suits tai rubber fishing. The B66L covers 40 to 80 g in 20 to 50 m, the B66ML 40 to 120 g from 30 to 80 m with tai rubber to about 100 m, and the B65M, the stiffest of the six, 60 to 150 g to about 100 m where aomono are plentiful.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 6 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.

The stiffest of the six, a 6'5" bait rod for jigs of 60 to 150 g, comfortable with 80 to 150 g of tungsten on PE 0.8 to 1.5. Suited to 100 m of water, fast current and grounds with plenty of aomono.
6'6" bait model for tungsten jigs of 40 to 80 g in 20 to 50 m and tai rubber to about 100 m, on PE 0.6 to 1. The flexible tip and moderate belly suit hairtail and seabass in bays where the jig should not move too much.
6'6" bait model for jigs of 40 to 120 g across 30 to 80 m on PE 0.8 to 1.2, keeping a quick jerk response with tungsten. Also rated for tai rubber in 80 to 100 m or fast current.
Ultralight 6'7" spinning model for tungsten jigs of 15 to 40 g in water to about 40 m, casting to 25 g on PE 0.4 to 0.8. Built for grunt and aji in the shallows, with butt power Yamaga rates for sea bream over 80 cm and aomono around 5 kg.
