Flagship three-piece seabass rods on Torayca T1100G, 9'4" to 10'3"
Super Argento is Olympic's flagship seabass series. The main material is Toray Torayca T1100G, wrapped with Super Quattro Graphite Cross LV and Quattro Graphite Cross XX, which Olympic states gives a light blank that swings easily while resisting twist and holding high stiffness.
All three models are three-piece spinning rods with titanium-frame Torzite K guides, a spigot ferrule and a slim Fuji VSS seat with a humped, locking hood that stays put during hard use; the grip is shaped to close the gap between palm and reel seat. The 9'4" GOSARS-943ML is rated 7 to 32 g on PE 0.6 to 1.5, the 9'8" GOSARS-983M 7 to 40 g on PE 0.6 to 2, and the 10'3" GOSARS-1033M 10 to 40 g on PE 0.8 to 2. All three share a regular fast action and weigh 153 to 173 g. Japanese retail is ¥94,000 to ¥98,000 ex-tax, the series is sold through Olympic's authorised dealers, and it sits under the company's Susami brand.
