20 Vigore
Long T1100G bass rods with G-MAPS butts, four bait and three spinning models
20 Vigore is the higher-priced of Olympic's two bass series, renewed around longer rods for casting distance on big waters and for reaching hard-to-approach cover. Every blank uses Toray Torayca T1100G through its full length, with Olympic's patented G-MAPS construction and Quattro Graphite Cross XX in the butt; the 77XH adds Super Quattro Graphite Cross. All models except the 77XH use titanium-frame Torzite guides, and Japanese prices run from ¥49,000 to ¥52,500.
The four bait models are set up by technique. The 7'1" one-piece GVIGC-71H is a flipping and punching rod for 3/16 to 3/8 oz Texas rigs and 1/4 to 1 oz punch shots. The 7'5" GVIGC-75M is a moving-bait rod built around 1/2 to 5/8 oz vibrations and jerkbaits, the 7'6" GVIGC-76MH handles spinnerbaits and other wire baits of 1/2 to 1 1/2 oz, and the 7'7" GVIGC-77XH, rated 1 to 4 oz on 16 to 25 lb, is for big baits and crawler baits on stainless SiC-S double-foot guides. All four have Fuji ECS reel seats, and the 75M, 76MH and 77XH have detachable grips.
The spinning models are the one-piece 6'10" GVIGS-610ML versatile rod, the GVIGS-6102ML added in 2025 as a center-cut 2-piece version with Olympic's OP-02 carbon reel seat, and the 7'4" GVIGS-742M for long casts with light rigs on PE. Grips are high-grade cork and EVA.
