23 Calamaretti UX Tip Eging
Entry Calamaretti UX tip-run rods, solid tips, egi to 60 and 70 g
Calamaretti UX Tip Eging is the entry Olympic line for tip eging (tip-run), the boat method of drifting a weighted egi and watching the rod tip for bites. Olympic aimed it at anglers starting out who still want sensitivity and control, rebuilding the Nuovo Calamaretti design under its UX construction with high-modulus carbon and Graphite Cross LV in the butt.
The 5'11" 23GCALUS-5112M-S-TE (2023) is the short, easy-handling model for egi to 70 g, with a detachable grip for transport and a VSS seat. The 6'6" 26GCALUS-662ML-S-TE, added for 2026, uses its length to steady the tip and an ML power for shallow water and the autumn season, rated to 60 g, with a slip-over ferrule and the OP-02 carbon reel seat. Both have solid tips, extra-fast actions and self-clearing stainless-frame SiC tip guides.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 2 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
