23 Finezza UX
Entry mebaru rods with a regular-fast action, solid and tubular tips, spinning and bait
Finezza is Olympic's mebaru (mebaring) family, built with an action set apart from its ajing rods, and Finezza UX is the lower-priced entry model, relaunched in 2023. Olympic gives it a regular-fast action that makes bites easy to hook, with solid and tubular tips to cover shore light game. Blanks are mainly low- and mid-modulus carbon with high-modulus carbon in places so every model loads under a fish, plus Graphite Cross LV in the butt. Joints are put-over ferrules, guides are stainless-frame SiC-S, and the spinning models use a VSS seat in an up-lock layout with split EVA grips.
The 752L-S has a 0.8 mm solid tip for jigheads and a slightly firm belly for lift-and-fall work. The 752L-T is the tubular-tip all-rounder for jigheads, plugs and light carolina rigs, and Olympic suggests it as the first rod to buy. The 832ML-T casts carolina, split-shot and float rigs, plugs and metal jigs to water a 7-foot rod cannot reach. The 2026 26GFINUC-762ML-T adds a bait model for heavier carolina and float rigs on thicker line, to keep large fish out of cover, with a spiral guide layout and an ECS seat. Japanese retail runs from ¥22,500 to ¥25,500 ex-tax.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 4 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
