24 Silverado UX
Entry chining rods for free rigs and plugs, bait and spinning, 7'6" to 8'1"
24 Silverado UX brings the Silverado chining series into Olympic's lower-priced UX range. It keeps the series' base design, bottom rigs first with enough range for plug fishing, and is aimed at anglers starting chining as well as regular black sea bream anglers. The blank combines carbon of several moduli for low weight and sensitivity, with Graphite Cross LV in the butt section to set twisting and crush stiffness. All models use stainless-frame SiC-S guides, a put-over ferrule (逆並継) and a split EVA grip with no fore grip; the bait model takes a Fuji ECS seat and the spinning models a down-locking VSS seat.
The bait 762ML centres on free rigs and other bottom presentations while still handling plugs. The spinning 762ML is the standard model, covering free rigs on the bottom up to poppers on the surface, and Olympic suggests spinning for newcomers because of its lower tangle risk. The 782M handles slightly heavier rigs and plugs with the power to keep control of a fish hooked at range, and the 8'1" 812ML, added in 2025, is the longest model in the series, kept fine in the tip but built for long casts to water other anglers cannot reach. Ratings run from 3 to 20 g on PE 0.4 to 1.
