25 Calamaretti Prototype Tip Eging
High-end Calamaretti tip-run rods with titanium and T1100G solid tips, egi to 60 to 90 g
Calamaretti Prototype Tip Eging is Olympic's high-end tip-run series, fully renewed for 2025. Every model carries the OP-02 carbon reel seat in a downlock position, and the blanks combine Toray Torayca T1100G with Super Quattro Graphite Cross LV and the patented G-MAPS process. Guides are titanium frame with Torzite rings on all but the SiC top guide. The series is sold through Olympic's authorised dealers.
The 5'11" 25GCALPS-5112M-TS is the most technical model, with a titanium solid tip for both visual and hand sensitivity, rated for egi to 70 g. The 6'4" 25GCALPS-642ML-TS is the newly added ML model for small and mid-size squid early in the season, rated to 60 g, at a length suited to anything from large charter boats to small pleasure craft. The 6'10" 25GCALPS-6102ML/M-S is the all-rounder with a solid tip, rated to 70 g.
The 2026 6'10" 26GCALPS-6102MH-HS+ adds Olympic's Torayca T1100G Solid HS+ tip and a stiffer blank for fast current and deep water, rated to 90 g, and also handles casting tip-run in late-spring shallows and around weed. The 5112M-TS and 6102MH-HS+ have detachable grips; the other two use spigot ferrules.
