25 Corto Boat Ajing
Boat ajing Corto rods: bachikon vertical spinning and bait models and a casting jighead rod
Corto Boat Ajing brings Olympic's Corto ajing line to boat fishing, with vertical models in spinning and bait and a jig-tan (bare jighead) model for casting from the boat. Olympic describes the blanks as sensitive but able to take pressure: low- to high-modulus carbon used where each suits, a high-strength carbon solid tip on the 602L-HS, Graphite Cross LV in the butt section, put-over ferrules, stainless-frame SiC-S guides and fluorescent-orange tip wraps for visibility.
The vertical models are for bachikon, boat ajing with a sinker rig dropped straight down. The GCORBC-602L-HS bait rod has a hard solid tip and a firm hooking action for strong current and deep water, rated to 70 g, and lets the angler use a line-counter reel to hold the range. The GCORBS-602L-HS is its 6' spinning twin, which can also cast to search a wider area, and the GCORBS-682ML-S adds a thick-walled blank with a 24t solid tip for heavy rigs to 160 g in deep water and fast current, scheduled for release from autumn 2026. The GCORBS-542UL-S is the jighead model for casting from the boat, rated to 5 g, which Olympic says bends for mame-aji and still lands large aji, and it also works from shore.
All four are 2-piece rods for PE to 0.6 or 1.0, priced from ¥31,000 to ¥34,000 ex-tax.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 4 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
