25 Super Calamaretti
Flagship Calamaretti shore eging rods on Torayca T1100G, M40X and M46X, 8'3" and 8'6"
Super Calamaretti is the flagship of Olympic's Calamaretti shore eging rods, renewed for 2025. The blank uses Toray Torayca T1100G, M40X and M46X where each suits, is wrapped full length in Super Quattro Graphite Cross LV for four-axis reinforcement, and adds the patented G-MAPS process in the butt. Fittings are titanium-frame guides with Torzite rings on all but the SiC top guide in a T2 colour frame, spigot ferrules, the OP-02 carbon reel seat in a downlock position, split EVA grips and a hyca cork butt end. The series is sold through Olympic's authorised dealers.
The 8'3" GCALSS-832ML/M is the technical model, rated for 2 to 3.5号 egi and tuned for 2.5 to 3号, with an ML tip that keeps squid on and an M butt that follows their runs. The 8'6" GCALSS-862M is the all-round model, rated for 2.5 to 4号 and centred on 3 to 4号, built around casting, jerking, feeling, hooking and bringing squid in. Both are rated on PE 0.4 to 1.
