Limited-quantity 572UL-TS titanium solid tip ajing rod with revised guides and colours
Corto Limited is a limited-quantity special edition of the 23 Corto 23GCORS-572UL-TS, with a revised guide setting and a special colour scheme; Olympic has closed orders for it. The rod keeps the base model's 0.6 mm extra-fine short titanium solid tip, Olympic's patented nickel-titanium tip joined to a carbon tubular blank, which the maker tuned through repeated tests of tip diameter and length for jigheads under 1 g.
The blank is slim high-modulus carbon with Lightweight Graphite Cross wrapped on the bias in the butt, a put-over ferrule, titanium-frame SiC-S guides and the OP-01 carbon reel seat in a down-lock layout with a front-gripless split grip. Specifications match the base rod: 5'7" in two pieces, UL power, extra-fast action, rated to 2.5 g on line to 2 lb, with a closed length of 87.8 cm. It was sold through Olympic's authorised dealers at ¥33,000 ex-tax.
