26 Nuovo Calamaretti
Standard 2026 shore eging rods, 7'5" to 8'9", two with T1100G Solid HS+ tips
Nuovo Calamaretti is Olympic's 2026 standard shore eging series, reviving the "Nuovo" name used on an earlier rod. The blanks are high modulus throughout with Super Quattro Graphite Cross in the butt for low weight and torsional strength, and the two solid-tip models carry Olympic's Torayca T1100G Solid HS+ tip. Fittings are titanium-frame SiC guides with Torzite rings in the tip section, spigot ferrules, the OP-02 carbon reel seat in a downlock position and split EVA grips.
The 7'5" 26GCALXS-752L-HS+ is a short solid-tip model for harbours and low rocky ledges, making small egi easier to work in autumn, rated for 1.8 to 3号. The 8'3" 26GCALXS-832ML is the autumn run-and-gun rod for 2.5 to 3号 egi. The 8'5" 26GCALXS-852M is the all-season standard, centred on the 3.5号 egi common in spring, and the 26GCALXS-852ML-HS+ is its ML solid-tip variant for reading current and light bites. The 8'9" 26GCALXS-892ML/M is the long-cast model for rocks and high footing, with a strong butt for long jerks that lift the egi high.
Ratings run from 1.8 to 4号 egi across the series on PE 0.3 to 1, at ¥36,000 to ¥40,000 ex-tax.
