Freshwater bass series built on a vortex solid one-piece blank using 36-ton Toray carbon fiber with K-woven scrim and Phenix Nanolite resins. Phenix lists a sensitivity gain of up to 63% over the prior generation. The solid blank construction adds hoop strength while keeping wall thickness low. The range splits across three technique groups under the M1 banner.
MX-C casting rods cover bass techniques from 6'9" medium-light to 7'8" heavy with fast and extra-fast tapers. MX-S spinning rods handle finesse and shaky head work from 6'9" light through 7'8" medium-heavy. MXUR-C swimbait casting rods at 8' and 9' carry heavier glide and wake bait loads, with a coming-soon 9' extra-fast offshore-capable variant.
Components include a custom carbon fiber reel seat, Essex SiC guides, clip-style hook keeper, and AAA-grade Portuguese cork grips. Built for tournament bass anglers wanting a single-piece sensitive blank.
