Bass-oriented casting and spinning series made for technique-specific freshwater applications. Built for anglers who want technique-matched tools, frog, flipping, cranking, finesse, without stepping into the premium price tier. The series draws on Phenix's 30-plus years of California rod-building experience and is constructed in the USA. Passes 20-plus quality control checkpoints before shipping. Blanks use a proprietary blend of carbon fiber and graphite, balanced for sensitivity and casting weight.
Component specification is consistent across models: natural cork split-grip handles, Fuji reel seats, and Seaguide guides. Fuji seating provides positive reel lock on fish-fighting loads; Seaguide rings are positioned for casting distance and quiet release. The limited lifetime warranty with fee applies. Twelve casting models span 6'8" to 7'7" with power ratings from M to H and action from M to XF, clearly technique-keyed. Model suffix codes indicate application: XF for frog and punch, M for slower crankbait loads, F for all-purpose jig and swimbait.
Three spinning models (7'–7'3", ML to MH) handle finesse and medium-weight spinning presentations. The VBD-C68MF stickbait model and VBD-C74H frog rod are sold as single-application tools based on Amazon listing metadata.
